Since 1986 Young & McQueen Grading Company Inc. has continued to expand its operations from a small grading company into a complete site development contractor. Our self-performance of all site related scopes of work throughout Western North Carolina, East Tennessee, Upstate South Carolina, and Northern Georgia make us the customers’ preferred contractor.

From our home base in Burnsville, North Carolina we have successfully completed numerous and varied projects over the last 25 years involving development of difficult mountainous terrain while maintaining the pristine beauty of the surrounding environment.

Young & McQueen Grading Company Inc. holds an unlimited and unclassified General Contractors License in both North Carolina and South Carolina. We own and operate hundreds of pieces of late model heavy equipment and trucks and we employ an experienced and qualified staff.
